This game was in the balance at half time when the Old Firm led 12-10 through 4 penalties by left wing Will Holley. Bedlinog looked as if they were playing at a higher level as they were quicker to offload and move the ball. But Mount held them at bay except for a scrum 15 metres out which the visitors got moving forward and ended up as a penalty try. The second half belonged to Bedlinog territorially, but they only had one drive over try from close-in to show for it. The man who won them the game was their outside half who kicked superbly on the night, gaining 50 plus metres out of hand and converting a couple of penalties from half way. Replacement hooker Jordan Howe got the Mount try.
