Although the Young Firm were missing scrum half and captain Morgan Cartwright, No.8 Ryan Jenkins, and centre Jamie Long, they stuck to their task throughout this match against a strong Pencoed squad. During the second half, the home side brought on replacements to try to crack the Mount defence, but there was no way through, leaving the Young Firm with a very good away win.
