Our History

The club can also call upon the Cadrawnant playing field which is situated just behind Parc Dyffryn Pennar in Caegarw.The ground was built in 1953 and also caters for the town's football and cricket teams with several tennis courts also on site.An attractive sports pavilion with 4 dressing rooms ,toilet and kitchen offer excellent facilities for players of all sports with a section of terracing for spectators. The pitch is used mostly for Athletic, Youth and Junior fixtures.Adjacent to the Caedrawnant is the Rugby pitch at Mountain Ash Comprehensive School which is in the main used by the club's thriving Junior Section.This offers the perfect scenario for both Mountain Ash RFC and Mountain Ash Comprehensive School as it maintains and cements the very strong links which has existed between the two party's for many years.
